There is no useful single price for website development
The cost changes with page count, design originality, content preparation, CMS needs, forms, integrations, ecommerce, CRM connections and the amount of custom functionality. A five-page service website and a lead portal may both be called “websites,” but the delivery effort is completely different.
A better way to budget
Start by separating the project into discovery/content, UI design, frontend development, backend/CMS, integrations, testing and post-launch support. This makes quotes easier to compare because you can see whether one provider has simply omitted work another provider included.
What increases cost most
Custom workflows, dashboards, complex data, multilingual content, ecommerce rules, third-party integrations and large migration requirements usually increase scope more than visual styling alone.
Where businesses often under-budget
Content, photography, data cleanup, redirects, analytics, form deliverability and maintenance are frequently forgotten. These items matter because the website has to keep working after launch, not just look complete on handover day.
How to request a useful quote
Share the current website if one exists, list the pages or modules you know you need, identify any must-have integrations, explain who will edit content, and state the business result you expect. A good provider should then help refine the scope rather than quoting from the page count alone.
Next step
If you are planning a related project, share the current website or workflow and the result you want to improve. Anil Designer can help map the page, UI or system requirements before development starts.
